Combs Village Fete
Our fete celebrates our village and the talent and interests of our communities. This year's fete is on 4th July and will have an umistakable American twist!

Highlights of the day will include:
- Vintage vehicles parade and display.
- Official opening by John Wark, a legend in the history of Ipswich Town Football Club. All ‘Tractor Boys’ can bring along your treasured ITFC souvenirs, for John to sign.
- The hugely popular Battisford and District Gardening Club annual show.
- Cake Stall offering delicious treats.
- Stalls and exhibits from local organisations and companies.
- Entertainment by the Urban Allstars Majorettes and Barry’s Buskers.
- Display of vehicles and equipment used by the Army Air Corps from Wattisham.
- Fun Dog Show, with some rather unusual categories. Prettiest Girl, Most Handsome Boy, Best Veteran (7+), Best 6 Legs (owner and dog) and Most Obedient (sit, paw).Entry £1 per dog per class and all proceeds will go to the charity Hounds for Heroes.
- Children will love the FREE bouncy castle and sandpit.
- The Children’s Fancy Dress Competition will celebrate Independence Day with its USA theme.
- Children's Games suitable for different age groups.
- Adults’ Games including some unconventional favourites.
- Children’s cricket match organised as a demonstration by the Battisford and District Cricket Club.
- Awards to the winners of the competitions and games.
- The day ends with Live Music in the evening from The Harvs and Renegade 12 starting at 7.00pm.
