Brand New Purpose-Built Pre-School ‘Woodlands Pre-School’ to open in Combs Ford

Following a successful bid to the Government, Suffolk County Council’s Early Years and Childcare Service was granted funds to provide a purpose-built Day Care Centre on Lavenham Way, Combs Ford, to enable Combs Ford Pre-School to move from the Boys Brigade Hall.

The new building will have excellent indoors and outdoors provision for children aged from two until pre-school age as well as before and after school care for school aged children, and a holiday club for children up to the age of 11.

Woodlands Pre-school will open week days from 8am till 6pm, for 51 weeks of the year.  From September, they will offer up to 30 hours of free childcare for eligible working families with children aged 3 or 4.
