BILDESTON ROAD BUILDING SITE:

Regular users of Bildeston Road cannot have failed to notice the disruption caused by the development work just west of the Mill Lane junction.

 Please be assured that your Parish Council has been in lengthy ongoing dialogue with both our County and District Councillors, both of whom have taken up the cudgels on our behalf. A Temporary Stop Notice was issued last week until sought-after improvements were made. We’ve also sent a file detailing our concerns directly to the owner of Chatsworth Homes, the main developer.

 We are pleased to say that the contractor used on the site has now been replaced by Chatsworth Homes directly. The owner has assured us that they wish to cause minimum disruption to residents. We will be keeping a close eye on the site and will hold them to their word. Residents are welcome to contact us via the PC address combsparishcouncil@gmail.com – photographic evidence of poor practice is very welcome.
