Update Easter 2021
Easter has seen the end of a busy and productive week on the meadow. Many thanks to all those who helped to make this possible.
Trees have been planted with help from Suffolk Rural college as well as yourselves. The saplings waiting for a hole to be dug were sheltered in the willow dome so that the herd of deer living on the meadow didn't graze on them. The college hopes to work with us in the future and their press officer came along to take photos and learn about the project, resulting in the article in the EADT.

A hedge has been planted along the eastern boundary with the help & instruction from Richard Frost from the Suffolk Tree Network.
Bill & Daphne Baldry uncovered the large water tank which will collect rainwater from the barn roof. Steve Green has done a stirling job with hose pipes and watering cans to keep the trees and hedging watered. Ivy & Romany Meredith-Bailey spent a morning collecting old plastic off the roadside hedge. Ian Clark has made an attractive sign for the meadow which will be a temporary measure until we have the entrance constructed.
There are still tasks to do on the meadow and we will let you know when we can organise some more sessions. Hopefully it won't be too long now until we get the opportunity to meet in a larger social group.
